The Vipers, I thought, have the BCHL rights to the Brooks Bandits goalie Johnny Hicks.

January 10 - Acquire Johnny Hicks G (05). from the Merritt Cenntenials for future considerations. Hicks is currently on the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) roster, 26 games .902 Save%.

So, how does that work now that Brooks is BCHL???

Paul it was quite clear if you spoke to anyone in the know that The 2 players listed along with Lee Parks and Luke Ashton requesting a trade was due to the coach/gm and how he ran the team and treated the players! Word is that he has learned slightly from last year and less blowup but this is most likely due to the better record. Treating his younger players better and some has been circumstantial as he was forced to play younger players with key injuries to key players especially up front that opened the door for Busch as a 16 yr old to have opportunity.
