Another interesting article on the state of Junior Hockey in Canada. After many years of status quo the landscape could be changing dramatically if all or even some of these rumors come to fruition. It should be noted by all that this article comes from the Winnipeg Free Press, a reputable news source, and is signed by the contributor. So... should we give it credibility? Yes, but recognize it is still an opinion albeit quoting many people in the Junior hockey know. The BCHL raised some eyebrows with its move but with the 5 AJHL teams and now articles like this the whole debate is taking legs. Stay tuned, times are a changing!!!

Looks like the new super BCHL will be feeding NCAA Div 3 teams soon . CHL players will soon be allowed to play in the NCAA after playing major junior. Just when they thought they would be the number one provider of div one players. This is what happens when you get greedy.
