The defending Interior Division Conference Champion Vernon Vipers are coming off a 6-3 win over the visiting West Kelowna Warriors Friday have won five straight and seven straight on home ice. Tonight is the first meeting between these two teams since a four game sweep in the BCHL Finals last season where the Express went on to the Western Canada Cup in Dauphin Manitoba. The Vipers sit 2nd in the Interior Division are ten points back of Division leading Penticton and nine points up on Merritt and ten points up on West Kelowna. The Vipers are 7-3-0-0 in their last ten games.
Thomas Aldworth (32-12-44) leads the team in goals with thirty two while Liam Coughlin (16-34-50) leads the team in points with fifty.
Nicholas Rasovic played parts of two seasons with the Express (2013-2014) before being released and then signing with the Vipers on December 1st 2015.

The defending Fred Page Cup Champion Coquitlam Express make their first and only visit of the regular season. The Express snapped a four game losing streak are coming off a 5-3 victory over the visiting Powell River Kings last night. Coquitlam sits 4th in the Mainland Division are five points back of Prince George and thirteen points back of Chilliwack. The Express have just four players back from last years Championship team have just one win in their last five games and are 5-5-0-0 in their last ten. Tonight's the first of a two game road trip where the Express have lost three straight away from home.
