The Alberta Junior Hockey League Drayton Valley Thunder
traded former Vernon Vipers forward Landon Robin to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Melfort Mustangs.
Robin was recruited by the Vipers started the 2012-13 season with Vernon before being traded to Powell River on November, 29th 2012 for future considerations. In 23 games with the Vipers Robin collected (1-4-5). The Kings traded Robin to the MJHL Winnipeg Blues on August 23rd 2013 before even playing a single game, the Blues turned around trading Robin to the SJHL La Ronge IceWolves on August 27th 2013. The IceWolves traded Robin to the AJHL Drayton Valley Thunder over the off season.

Bring in Landon Robin from the AJHL

The Melfort Mustangs have acquired 94 born forward Landon Robin from the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League for future considerations.
Robin, a Saskatoon product played his AAA with the Beardy’s Blackhawks before joining the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL in 2012.
After one season in BC, Robin was traded to the La Ronge Ice Wolves where he put up 34 points in 55 games last season.
An off-season trade saw his rights moved to Alberta prior to this season. In Drayton Valley he appeared in 16 games, collecting 4 points.
He is expected to be in Melfort in time for tomorrow night’s game vs the Battlefords North Stars.
