The Powell River Kings return home after a three game road trip are coming off a 5-3 win in Trail Sunday, December 7th their only win out of the three games. After tonight's game with Vernon the Kings will hit the road for a seven game road trip. Powell River sits 2nd place in the Island Division are nine points back of Division leading Nanaimo are only two points up on Alberni Valley and four points up on Victoria. The Kings have just two wins in their last five games are 6-1-0-3 in their last ten games. Powell River has just three regulation losses at home this season.
