Former Vernon Vipers forwards Connor
and Kellen Jones have been recalled by the American Hockey League (AHL) Oklahoma City Barons.
Connor & Kellen both played four years in Vernon (2006-2010) are in their first season with the East Coast Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors. The Jones Twins signed their first pro contract with the American Hockey League Oklahoma City Barons on April 3rd 2014. The Barons assigned the Jones Twins to Bakersfield after Training camp this season.
In 163 regular season games with the Vipers. Connor collected (80-goals-118-assists-198-points) Connor also is the Vipers all-time franchise points leader (regular season & playoffs) with 228 & all-time franchise goals leader (regular season & playoffs) with 95.
Kellen played in 154 regular season games with the Vipers collecting (39-goals-134-assists-173-points). Kellen is also the all-time franchise assists leader (regular season & playoffs) with 150. Kellen was drafted in Round 7 of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft #202 overall by the Edmonton Oilers.

Connor and Kellen Jones recalled to Oklahoma City

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Oklahoma City Barons, announced that center Connor Jones and left wing Kellen Jones have been recalled by the Barons.
Connor leads the Condors, and all ECHL rookies, in scoring with 25 points (9g-16a) in 25 games and has tallied three game-winning goals, including two in overtime. He leads all first-year players in the league with five power-play goals.
Kellen is second on the Condors, and is tied for third among ECHL rookies, with 23 points (6g-17a) in 25 games. He is second among all first-year players with 17 assists, just one behind Josh Winquist, who was recalled from Bakersfield to Oklahoma City last week.
The brothers spent the previous four seasons at Quinnipiac University, helping to lead the team to the 2013 Frozen Four. Connor had 129 points (49g-80a) in 153 career games with the Bobcats while Kellen notched 127 points (53g-74a) in 157 games.
