committed to the Vernon Vipers for the 2014-15 season.

The Okanagan Rockets are proud to announce that the Vernon Vipers have committed to Rockets captain Branden Wagner for the 2014-2015 season.

Wagner has been the captain of the Okanagan Rockets for the past two seasons and to date has appeared in 103 regular season games for the Rockets registering 45 goals and 59 assists for 104 points. Wagner has also added 6 points in 10 BCMML playoff games.

Wagner is the Rockets all-time leading scorer.

A 3 year veteran of the Rockets, Wagner has posted 11 goals and 27 points in 26 games during the 13-14 season.

“We are thrilled that Branden will be able to begin his junior hockey career with an organization as strong as the Vernon Vipers.” commented Rockets general manager David Michaud. “Vernon has a long history of success with our alumni and I would expect that trend to continue with Brendan who has been a model player on and off the ice for our team.”

Vernon Vipers head coach and general manager Jason Williamson said “Branden has been a player that we have watched all year. He is a 200 foot player and a great leader. He will be a great Viper and the type of person we look for in a player   “
