The Vernon Vipers return home after a 4-1 loss in Trail last night have now dropped back to back games.  Tonight is the first game of a three game home stand.  The Vipers are unbeaten in eight of their last nine home games.  The Vipers sit in 2nd place are six points back of 1st place Penticton and are just two points up on 3rd place West Kelowna.  After picking up atleast a point in twelve of thirteen games Vernon has won just twice in their last six games and are 6-4-0-0 in their last ten games.   Michael McNicholas, Josh Bryan and Mason Blacklock will face their former team tonight.

Lets take a look at the Nanaimo Clippers:

The Nanaimo Clippers make their first and only visit of the regular season to Kal Tire Place.  The Clippers have just one win in Vernon since the 2003-04 season.  Nanaimo will be looking for the series sweep tonight after shutting out the Vipers 3-0 at home back on October 19th.  Tonight is game three of a current four game road trip where Nanaimo is 2-0 after a 2-1 victory in Salmon Arm last night.  The 3rd place Clippers have won two straight and three of their last five.  Nanaimo is 6-4-0-0 in their last ten games are thirteen points back of 2nd place Powell River.  The Clippers have won three straight away from home and four of their last five games on the road.  Mike Vandekamp will face his former team for the second time this season (Coached the Vipers from 2001-2004).
