Tonight is the second of seven meetings between the Vipers & Warriors. West Kelowna leads the season series 1-0.  The Warriors won the first matchup of the season in West Kelowna 5-3 back in mid September.

The Vernon Vipers are coming off a 4-3 double overtime loss to the visiting Victoria Grizzlies Sunday afternoon host the West Kelowna Warriors on parents weekend.  The Vipers have two wins in their last six games sit just one point back of West Kelowna for top spot in the Interior Division.  Vernon has just four wins in their last ten games vs West Kelowna have lost just once in their last ten home games vs the Warriors.  Tonight is the third game of a five game home stand where Vernon has won three of their last five games on home ice.

The West Kelowna Warriors make their first visit of the regular season to Kal Tire Place are coming off a 5-1 loss at home to the Trail Smoke Eaters Saturday night.  West Kelowna has just one win in their last ten visits to Vernon has won three of their last five and six of their last ten games.  The first place Warriors sit atop the Interior Division are third overall in the league behind Powell River & Langley.  The Warriors have played three of their last four games on the road where they have lost just four games.  The Warriors have won four of their last six road games.  West Kelowna will play four of their next five games at home.  These two teams will play again on the 23rd of this month.
