Former Vernon Vipers goaltender, Mark Sibbald will be back for a third season with the SPHL's Huntsville Havoc. Sibbald who was named the SBK Goaltender of the Year and first-team All-SPHL last season played two years in Vernon (2003-2005) before attending Brown University. Sibbald has also had stops with the CHL Laredo Bucks & CHL's Mississippi RiverKings.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama - The Huntsville Havoc are already looking toward next season with a familar name in goal.
Mark Sibbald, who was named the SBK Goaltender of the Year and first-team All-SPHL last season after posting a 14-12 record, a 2.51 goals against average and a 91.5 save percentage, is returning to Huntsville for a third season. He finished sixth in the SPHL in wins, second in goals against and fourth in save percentage.
"Having Mark back gives us the start we wanted in terms of building for the 2011-12 season," Huntsville coach Randy Murphy. "He has turned in two great seasons here in Huntsville statistically and was rewarded last season individually."
The Ridgeway, Ontario, native has played in 65 career games in the SPHL and the CHL and has posted a 34-20-4 career record. His career goals against average is 2.74 and his save percentage is 90.8.
"I couldn't be happier to be returning to Huntsville next season," Sibbald said. "Playing for Coach Murphy and the Jeffries family has been a great experience."
