The best of seven series featuring the Enerflex Cup Champion of the AJHL and the Fred Page Cup Champion of the BCHL will begin in BC then travel to Alberta for the remainder of the series. If the first two games of the series are split, the series will remain in Vernon for Game 3 then move to Grande Prairie for all remaining games. If one team sweeps the first two games, the series will move to Grande Prairie for Game 3 and all remaining games.

The AJHL has won the past two Doyle Cup series. The Grande Prairie Storm have yet to capture a Doyle Cup. The Vernon Vipers won the Doyle Cup in 1996 and 1999, the Vernon Lakers won the title in 1989, 1991 and 1992.
