Ex Viper Bibby Scores Twice In Bandits Game 2 Win:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Luke Bibby scored twice, was named

1st Star in the Brooks Bandits 8-2 victory in Game 2 Saturday over the visiting West Kelowna Warriors in front of 1,308 fans at the Centennial Regional Arena. The series is tied 1-1 with Game 3 Tuesday in West Kelowna.

Bibby is in his first season with the Brooks Bandits. In 15 regular season games, Bibby collected (11-goals-6-assists-17-points). This is Bibby's second stint with the Bandits. Bibby played the 2022-23 season with the Brooks Bandits.

Bibby played parts of two seasons in Vernon from 2023-2025. The Nanaimo Clippers traded Bibby to Vernon October 21st 2023 for Luke Buss. In 80 games with the Vernon Vipers, Bibby collected (16-goals-25-assists-41-points). The Vernon Vipers traded Bibby to the Brooks Bandits February 10th 2025 for Shane Burns. (Burns didn't report to Vernon, joined the MJHL Steinbach Pistons).

It is so refreshing to see ex-Vipers doing well with other organizations. Bibby is a warrior, as a Viper he did everything asked of him. I enjoyed watching him and had him projected as Viper captain.

It is amazing what a different environment will do for a player and coaches with a different style of play. When you create an atmosphere of caring and upbuilding you definitely gain respect from the player and his wanting to put on his best performance every night. Good for Bibby I am happy for him./
