Merner is in his first season with the Langley Rivermen. In 26 games, Merner has (11-goals-6-assists-17-points).
Merner played last season with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders, was traded to Langley August 6th 2024.
Merner had previously committed to Merrimack College for the 2024-25 season.
Merner played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. In 38 games with the Vipers, Merner collected (3-goals-7-assists-10-points). Merner left the Vernon Vipers to sign with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders June 6th 2023.

Well we don’t have a Viper rep in the Top Prospects game, but at least there will be a former Viper. Viper pride.
