Did any Vipers fans make the road trip this weekend?

Did you watch the Vipers game on flohockey this evening or were you listening to Graham on the radio?

What did you think of tonight's Kings-Vipers game? What are your comments/opinion on the game?

Have the Vipers hit rock bottom now?

Powell river had more jump and won the majority of battles imo. Wondering if the 630 wake up this morning after a game last night may have had an effect on the energy level. On a positive note, less penalties and turnovers.

I watched the Vipers-Kings game on flohockey tonight.

I thought the hometown Kings had a little more jump, and edge in play in the 1st period but I thought the Vipers were the better team in the 2nd and 3rd periods, had more of the edge in play. Vernon looked to have more puck possession and zone time in the 2nd and 3rd periods, outshot and out chanced the Kings in both of the final two periods. The Snakes had a ton of pressure in the 3rd but give credit to the Kings defence who not only played well but blocked lots of shots in the 3rd. For a second straight night, the Vipers run into a hot goaltender as Vincent Lamberti played very well in goal for Powell River. The Vipers have no talent/goal scorers as the team couldn't buy a goal tonight. Vernon has struggled offensively this season and it showed again tonight.

Looking at the Vipers road trip this week/weekend and looking at the teams I figured the Vipers could come home with two wins, instead they come home with only one. Tonight was one of those must win games when facing a last place Powell River team that had only four wins. This season has been very tough but also very disappointing and it looks like Vipers fans are in for a long season.

I had a family dinner last night, so was unable to listen to Graham but saw the highlights on here. We can't score, and PR blocked a lot of shots & there goalie was hot. We had lots of chances and needed to capitalize on those chances.

I wonder if the Vipers will make any moves this week?

Wouldn’t be surprised if more players decide to move on from this situation. Clearly, management will not hold the coaches accountable despite the inability to do the job.

Are there any good coaches available and wanting to come to Vernon? It may have nothing to do with accountability if there is no threat of being replaced because there is no one available or willing. It’s not all on the owners shoulders. It’s a team sport, correct?

44% of this season is completed, only three teams below the Vipers (Prince George, Powell River & Blackfalds), Vipers record thus far is 24GP - 8W - 16L for 33.33%, DieHard mentioned that it was going to be a “LONG” season, but, the stats thus far say it will be a “SHORT” season.
We can only hope for a MASSIVE turn around, make the playoffs and have a “LONG” season, GO, VIPERS, GO!

The 3 lower teams from the Interior and 2 lowest from Coastal will be eliminated from playoffs

Wow, there’s an interesting name. I don’t think he would mesh with the owner though cuz he would fight their constant interference. He would have to have full control and would not be one of the owners sheep. I do think he is the type of coach needed. There would be no nonsense, high demands and consequences for selfish or irresponsible play. Mike is effective but his tactics have a very short shelf life. Regardless this organization needs a big shake up and a reset.
