The Sherwood Park Crusaders have traded former Vernon Vipers

forward Ethan Merner to the Langley Rivermen.

Merner played last season with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders. In 65 games last season, Merner collected (23-goals-19-assists-42-points).

Merner had previously committed to Merrimack College for the 2024-25 season.

Merner played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. In 38 games with the Vipers, Merner collected (3-goals-7-assists-10-points). Merner left the Vernon Vipers to sign with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders June 6th 2023.
