On This Day In Vernon Junior Hockey History:

Forty six years ago today (June 13th 1980) The Vernon Daily News released an article stating the BCJHL made an announcement earlier in the week, the league governors voted to readmit Vernon after a year leave of absence. The team at the time currently has yet to have a name. Vernon's previous junior hockey team (Vernon Canadians) last played during the 1979-80 season, took a leave of absence for the 1979-80 season.
