With the 2024-25 BC Hockey League season weeks away, the league has been doing a report/profile on each team. On Wednesday the BCHL released the "Next Generation" with the Vernon Vipers.

I'm very excited and looking forward to a new season, with a new Head Coach and a fresh start without Jason McKee behind the bench. I like a lot of the players coming back from last season as well as some of the new recruits and players the Snakes have signed over the summer. I'm also looking forward to seeing the Alberta teams play and how they match up vs the rest of the BC teams.
I heard from a reliable source the Vipers training camp starts August 30th-September 4th with no scrimmages. My sources also have told me Kal Tire Place will be getting their new video scoreboard September 2025.
Just announced Jason McKee is now Assistant Coach for Penticton Vees. Will be interesting to see how Jason and Harbison work together. Two big egos I think.
