Former Vernon Vipers goaltender Kyle Nixon and his wife Carolyn will be opening a new restaurant in Vernon later this year.

Kyle and his wife Carolyn own BNA Brewing Co. & Eatery in Kelowna and will be bringing one to Vernon in 2024.

Nixon last played professional hockey in the Netherlands in 2006 with the Nijmegen Emperors. Nixon played one season with the 2005-06 Emperors before retiring from professional hockey.

Nixon played three seasons at Minnesota State University from 2002-2005 before going to the Netherlands in 2005. 

Nixon played one season in Vernon with the 1999-00 Vernon Vipers. In 16 games with the Vipers, Nixon posted a 3.27 GAA
