I watched the Vipers game online this evening. A very disappointing loss to a struggling Bucks team. I thought the Bucks were the better team today. Cranbrook was the better team in the 1st period and had a bit of an edge at times in the 2nd while both teams were a little more even in the 3rd. The Bucks created and had the better of the opportunities. Vernon has been relying on their goaltenders lately and struggled offensively this afternoon. I didn't think they created enough quality chances or get enough opportunities today also gave up forty five shots. The Vipers have been getting outshot a lot lately, struggling offensively and been inconsistent. This wasn't a good road trip as Vernon comes home with only one win, where they were outplayed in Salmon Arm and lucky to win. The Vipers lose back to back games to teams below them in the standings and lose to a Cranbrook team that had previously lost five straight and had one win in their last ten games. If the Vipers want to stay in 4th or try and catch Salmon Arm for 3rd place you need to beat teams below you in the standings. Since early to mid November the Vipers haven't had too many games where they looked real good and dominated teams, they have been average, sub-par or been outplayed and inconsistent. The Vipers better be careful or they will quickly get passed by Trail who is only three points back.

Yes, outplayed again! In the last 5 games the Vipers have been outshot. 202 to 126. That is a terrible STAT and will not see the Vipers getting far this year. We can not use the “key players injured” excuse any more either. It is time to point the finger at the Coach and his system of play, or lack of systems. This team is dropping in the standings again and we are destined for another mediocre year. Very little has changed in the last 5 years of McKee hockey, even the excuses are the same.

You know I find it difficult to understand how much this team has changed. In the start this team to us fans seemed as they had so much talent. We would say the team was the best we have seen in years. The team was strong defensively and offensively. But recently I don't understand. It is thou the team has changed. They are just not the same defensively or offensively. Against cranbrook allowing 45 shots means very little defense and having in the past few games very little shots on goal per period is not the team I saw at the start of the year. It really is a shame that the coaching staff really doesn't seem to be getting there message across as is evident with what as fans we are seeing. Maybe it is the coaching style that the players our not buying into. I just sorry to say am very disappointed recently on what I am seeing on the ice and hope for a change. GO,VIPERS,GO.

I don't think the Vipers are lacking in talent. The last 5 years they have had very good players but have not utilized them properly or put them into a system to succeed, again this year.

Here is a simple analogy... a Baker (*Coach) can gather the best ingredients (*players) but if he does not combine the ingredients properly (*a system) he will NOT have success or create a good cake (*results). A Baker who can not consistently produce a satisfactory product will soon be released by his employer to bake cakes elsewhere. Pretty simple, eh? Yum, Yom!!!

Attention John Glenn "Your evaluation of talent is absolutely terrible, Your buddy Jason McKee is a terrible coach and Your inability to realize this has destroyed what was once one of the most Respected franchises in all of Junior A Hockey"

Attention Booby C....

Your Whining is always Enjoyable, if the players and coaching are as bad as you say, why go to games ? Instead of the Vipers drawing 2800, they would only draw 2799.
Im sure they would miss your $18 bucks....but that wont happen, you will be at Kal Tire, otherwise you would have nothing to complain about ! Every fan base has a couple, and Bobby C Congrads.....Your the Number 1 "Negativity King"........Your numerous previous posts will verify !
Pretty sure the Vipers wont miss your Good Cheer !
