The Vernon Vipers advanced to the Interior division semifinal vs the Penticton Vees after eliminating the Wenatchee Wild in five games Friday night. The Vees advanced to the second round Wednesday after eliminating the West Kelowna Warriors in five games.
The Vipers and Vees haven't met in the playoffs since 2017 and are meeting in the post season for the twenty fourth time in franchise history. The Vees are 13-11 in playoff series vs Vernon.
Penticton went 5-2 vs Vernon this year. The last time these two teams met, the Vees won 7-1 February 1st in Penticton.
The Vees have announced the series/Game 1 will start Friday, March 13th with Game 2 going Saturday, March 14th. (The remainder of the schedule will be announced later)

Penticton Vees verus Vernon. What a challenge. I feel we can win this series. Penticton and there mindset is arrogrant and boastful. They as a team think they are godlike with Fred H. behind the scenes. But, time and time again other teams who have beaten Penticton have put Pentictons ego and Freds aside and just played there game as they know it and worked hard,playing there game and not worrying about how great thou art,penticton. With that attitude Penticton has been beaten year after year after year. So Vernon you have a great attitude and spirit as to team play and belief in each other. Believe. and great things will happen.
For once I agree with Bingo....lol! Would love to see the Vipers beat the arrogant Vees! The boys showed what they are capable of when they work hard as they did in the Wenatchee series! Looking for good things!
