With the win Friday, the Vipers improve to 4-1 on the season. Tonight is the Vipers third game of a current six game road trip, their longest of the season. The Wenatchee Wild are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to the Powell River Kings Friday also finish the BCHL Showcase tonight vs Vernon. Tonight is the fifth and final game of a five game road trip, before the Wild have their home opener Friday vs Langley. Friday's overtime loss was the Wilds first loss of the season, as Wenatchee comes into tonight's game with a 3-0-1-0 record. This is the second time these two teams will face each other at the BCHL Showcase after Wenatchee's 3-2 victory over the Vipers at last years Showcase. The Wild sit atop the Mainland Division three points up on Chilliwack, Langley & Coquitlam. Wenatchee leads the league in goals with twenty seven.
