The Vernon Vipers make their sixth visit of the season to the South Okanagan Events Centre are coming off a 6-2 home loss to the visiting Penticton Vees Wednesday. The Vipers season is now on the line are down 3-1 in the series looking to force a Game six back in Vernon Saturday. The Vipers are 0-4-1-0 in Penticton this season, last won at the SOEC in Game 5 of last years playoffs vs the Vees. Vernon has lost three of their last five games, have just three wins in their last ten games going back to the regular season. The Vipers have lost both playoff games, have just one win in their last seven games away from home.

The defending Western Canada Cup Champion Penticton Vees are looking to move on to the Interior Division Finals for a fifth straight year, hold a 3-1 series lead after a 6-2 win in Vernon Wednesday. Since the 2001 playoffs Penticton has won just two of nine playoff series vs Vernon. Including the regular season the Vees are 9-1 vs the Vipers this season. Penticton has won four of their last five games, going back to the regular season. The Vees have won fourteen of their last sixteen games going back to January 29th.
