The defending Interior Division Champion Vernon Vipers are coming off a 4-1 win over the visiting Trail Smoke Eaters Wednesday begin a home & home series with the Silverbacks starting tonight. The Vipers make their first of four regular season visits to the Shaw Centre where Vernon has lost two straight going back to last season. The Vipers have won seven of their last nine games are playing their first of three straight this weekend. Vernon sits in 3rd place are a point up on Merritt and three points back of West Kelowna. The Vipers took the first meeting of the season between these two teams on October 10th after a 3-2 Viper victory in Vernon. After this weekend Vernon will travel back to Salmon Arm on the 28th of November.
