The SJHL Melfort Mustangs recently held their year end awards
banquet with former Vernon Vipers forward Adam Fauchoux winning Rookie of the Year. Fauchoux in his first year with the Mustangs played in 48 games collecting (5-14-19).
Fauchoux played the last two seasons with the Prince Albert Mintos attended the Vernon Vipers Training camp this season playing in three exhibition games before being released before the start of the BCHL regular season. Fauchoux signed with the Cowichan Valley Capitals just days after being released by the Vipers. Fauchoux went pointless in two games with the Capitals before being traded to Melfort on September 19th 2012.

The Melfort Mustangs held their season wind-up at the Kerry Vickar Centre last night.
Jesse Wilkins was named the teams MVP while Godric Tham earned Playoff MVP Honors.
Governor Jim Arsenie says the bottom line will be helped after their playoff run, and the board is excited to see what the future holds for the team.
