Six BCHL Players Included in NHL Central Scouting Canadian Juniors/Midgets Top 10:

NHL Central Scouting is meeting this weekend to put together the final list of prospects for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft in New Jersey this June.
As a bit of a preview, NHL.com has released the top 10 skaters ranked in each league. For the sake of clarity, Canadian junior 'A' leagues and midget players across North America are grouped into the same "league" called "Canadian Juniors/Midgets". Of the top 10 ranked by Central Scouting, six are from the BC Hockey League.
Forwards Adam Tambellini (Surrey), David Pope (West Kelowna) and Jedd Soleway (Penticton) along with defencemen Dane Birks (Merritt), Nolan De Jong (Victoria) and Luke Ripley (Powell River) are the BCHLers represented.

TORONTO -- It's early Saturday morning and the men of NHL Central Scouting have returned to the board room at the League office in Toronto to continue ranking the top prospects for the 2013 NHL Draft.
The scouts will begin the process of ranking all the players after careful discussion and healthy debate Friday that established the six league lists in North America.
As promised, here are the top 10 skaters Central Scouting ranked in each league. In order to maintain some level of confidentiality, the players are listed in alphabetical order rather than numeric.
Keep in mind, this is the closest thing you'll get to a finalized list until the actual release of the 'Big Chart' later this month. The numeral in parenthesis beside each league represents the number of potential first-round picks within that league's top 10.
