Former Vernon Vipers goaltender Mark Sibbald has officially retired. No official press release other then Sibbald posting that he has retired from the game of hockey on his twitter account.
Sibbald is currently living & working in New York as a Tax Consultant.
Sibbald spent two and a half years with the Southern Professional Hockey Leagues (SPHL) Huntsville Havoc where he won goaltender of the year in 2011, before finishing his semi-pro hockey career last year with the CHL Dayton Gems. Sibbald played with
four teams last season. (The SPHL Huntsville Havoc, CHL Bloomington Blaze, CHL Allen Americans & the CHL Dayton Gems). Sibbald
played two years in Vernon (2003-2005) going 35-16-3 in 59 regular season games
with the Vipers.
