The AHL Chicago Wolves have released former Vernon Vipers forward Dean Strong. Strong played one year in Vernon (2004-05) collecting (35-56-91) with the Vipers during the regular season.

Forward Dean Strong collected three assists in five games with the Wolves.
The Chicago Wolves have released forward Dean Strong from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).
STRONG collected three assists in five games with the Wolves after being signed on Oct. 7.
The 26-year-old forward registered 3 goals and 7 points in seven ECHL contests with the Kalamazoo K-Wings last season. He also notched 7 goals and 14 points in 15 postseason games en route to helping Kalamazoo reach the Kelly Cup Finals.
The Mississauga, Ont., native began last season with Crimmitschau in Germany’s second division, posting 10 goals and 23 points in 25 matchups.
