The Vernon Vipers hockey club is pleased to announce that Michael Zalewski has committed to play for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I) for the 2012-2013 hockey season.
R.P.I is located in Troy, New York and plays out of the ECAC conference. Zalewski will join recent former Viper alumni Brad Farynuk, Andrew Lord, Kurtis Colling and Reed Kipp who attended and played for R.P.I.
Zalewski, a 92 born left winger, has had a strong start to his junior career in Vernon. The New York native has compiled 6 goals and 9 assists for 15 points in 22 games played. The Vernon Vipers would like to congratulate Mike on this recent accomplishment and wish him the best of luck in the future.
