Former Viper Short Signs With Ice Flyers:

Former Vernon Vipers forward, Rob Short has signed with the SPHL Pensacola Ice Flyers. Short who played four season’s with his hometown Vipers (2006-10) was the first player in team history to have his jersey retired by the Vipers. Short’s #20 was retired on September, 18th. Short was cut earlier this season by the CHL Texas Brahmas after attending the teams training camp & then released by the CHL Allen Americans after playing in two pre season games. In six games with Pensacola Short has 1 goal and 2 assists.
