Vipers Now Await Winner Of Trail-Westside Series:

After the Penticton Vees swept the Quesnel Millionaires last night and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks knocked out the Merritt Cetennials Tuesday night, the defending Royal Bank Cup Champion Vernon Vipers now await the winner of the Trail Smoke Eaters-Westside Warriors series to see who they will face off against in the second round of the BCHL playoffs. Salmon Arm will now battle Penticton in the second round with the winner advancing to the Interior Conference Final. Shawn Hochhausen scored at 13:11 of overtime last night in Game 4 giving the Warriors a huge 5-4 overtime victory over the Trail Smoke Eaters tying the series 2-2 heading back to Westside for Game 5 Thursday.

The winner of the Westside-Trail series will start games 1 & 2 in Vernon at the Wesbild Centre Tuesday, March 8th and Wednesday, March 9th
