It will be very interesting to see what the Kelowna Rockets do with former Vernon Vipers forward, Kyle St. Denis. St. Denis played two seasons in Vernon (2005-07) 2005-06 as an "AP" before playing his first full season in Vernon in 2006-07 before he left the Vipers to join the Rockets. St. Denis was acquired by the Kelowna Rockets in a six player deal with the Regina Pats on December 7 of 2006. St. Denis has missed more than 70 games over the past season and a half after suffering two separate concussions, and is out of the Rockets lineup atleast until the new year.
Kelowna including St. Denis has four 20 year olds on their roster. Evan Bloodoff, Geordie Wudrick, & Brendan Wall.
Will the Rockets take a chance and keep St. Denis or set him free? The Vipers still own St. Denis's rights.
The Vipers currently have the league limit six 20 year olds.
