The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a minor professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams across the United States and Canada. Competitively, it is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). The league serves as a farm system to the AHL and the National Hockey League (NHL).

Martin is in his sixth season with the ECHL Jacksonville Icemen. The Icemen signed Martin July 17th 2025. This is Martin's third stint with the Icemen. In 54 games, Martin has (20-goals-19-assists-39-points).
Martin played the 2024-25 season with the Elite Ice Hockey League Manchester Storm. The Manchester Storm are a British professional ice hockey team founded in 2015. They are members of the Elite Ice Hockey League. In 49 games with the Storm, Martin collected (13-goals-30-assists-43-points).
Martin played four seasons at Quinnipiac University from 2015-2019 before signing his first professional contract with the American Hockey League Springfield Thunderbirds April 2nd 2019. Martin didn't play a game with the Thunderbirds, was released, later signing with the ECHL Adirondak Thunder July 8th 2019. The Thunder traded Martin to Jacksonville November 26th 2019.
Martin played parts of two seasons in Vernon from 2011-2013. The Vipers traded Martin and future considerations to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs October 1st 2013 for Jared Wilson. In 46 games with the Vipers, Martin collected (10-goals-13-assists-23-points). Martin played parts of four seasons in the BCHL with Vernon, Alberni Valley & Trail from 2011-2015.
