Merner is in his first season with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders. In 20 games this season, Merner collected (5-goals-3-assists-8-points). Merner left the Vernon Vipers to sign with the Crusaders June 6th 2023.
Merner played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. In 38 games, Merner collected (3-goals-7-assists-10-points).
Merner has committed to Merrimack College for the 2024-25 season.

18 Goals and 16 Assists in 43 games in AJHL. Led the league in Short Handed Goals! Those stats are the BCHL Transition end of season games. In the games that matter 4 playoff games leading the team with 5 Goals 1 ast in the sweep over Blackfalds. 1st star and 3rd star and had 2 GWG! He doesn't play on the powerplay either impressive stats! Draft yr next year as well as he appears to be a late birthday.
