Ex Viper Oliver Scores First Career Collegiate Goal In Win Over Wildcats:

Former Vernon Vipers defenceman Mitchell Oliver scored his first career

collegiate goal Friday. Oliver's goal was the game winning goal as Lake Superior State University defeated Vernon Vipers alumni Connor Marritt & the Northern Michigan Wildcats 4-1.

Oliver is in his third season at Lake Superior State University. In five games this season, Oliver has (1-goal-1-assist-2-points).

Oliver spent parts of three seasons in Vernon (2014-2016) before being traded to Chilliwack in 2016. The Vipers traded Oliver to the Chilliwack Chiefs for Jesse Lansdell October 15th 2016. Oliver never played a game with Chilliwack was traded to the Alberta Junior Hockey League Bonnyville Pontiacs the same day. In 117 games with the Vipers, Oliver collected (7-goals-32-assists-39-points).
