What's the point?
A regular season of 20-24 games? For what? To hoist a trophy that will have an asterix beside it?
I like that it would be something for the players to do and keep conditioning up, but they are still paying for this each month out of pocket, and why not just have another Okanagan cup or some such tournament?
Without fans to add revenue or cheer them on personally....just call it what it is-organized shinny.
Things are getting worse everyday from a covid numbers perspective...cancel the friggin season and start new in the fall after everyone will have a chance to get vaccinated.

You can bet Fred Harbinson is trying to use all of his power to try and get a regular season underway this year. Harbinson and the Vees have put together a strong/championship team that will host the 2021 Centennial Cup and Harbinson & the Vees don't want to end up like the Kelowna Rockets in May and lose their shot at hosting the Cup.

@VDHF

I hear what you're saying. It sounds incredibly selfish on behalf of Fred Harbinson.
Everyone is suffering with these restrictions. I'd like to think he'd rather lose a shot at hoisting the cup, than lose some family members or players to this damn thing.

That said, your statement is purely opinion, so I guess we're talking hypotheticals here anyways.
