The 4-22-1-2 Coquitlam Express make their first and only regular season visit to Kal Tire Place, are coming off a 6-2 victory Sunday over the visiting Victoria Grizzlies. The Express come into tonight having yet to win on the road. Coquitlam is 0-15-0-1 away from home. Coquitlam has just one win in Vernon since the 2003-04 regular season. The Express last win in Vernon was a 4-3 overtime victory on September 18th 2015. These two teams will meet again January 21st in Coquitlam. The Express picked up their first win in sixteen games with a win over Victoria Sunday. Prior to Sundays victory, Coquitlam's last win was a 2-1 win over the visiting Langley Rivermen October 13th. Jason Fortier is the Express new Head Coach-GM after Barry Wolff was recently let go November 27th. The Express have scored a league low 67 goals this season, have give up 120 goals, second in the league behind Cowichan's 147 goals against. Coquitlam sits last in the Mainland Division with four wins are tied in points with Cowichan as the two clubs sit last overall in the league.
