Vernon-St. Michaels Trade:

The Vernon Vipers have acquired 19 yr old forward Finn Evans from the Ontario Junior Hockey League St. Michaels Buzzers.

Evans from Toronto, Ont is listed at 6'4 174lbs.

In 46 games last season with the Buzzers Evans collected (22-goals-32-assists-54-points). In two seasons with St. Michaels Evans picked up (30-goals-43-assists-73-points).

Evans was named OJHL 1st Team All Prospect, was ranked 129th among North American Skaters for the 2017 NHL Entry Draft on Central Scouting’s Final Rankings & was a member of Team Canada East at the 2016 World Junior A Challenge.

Evans was drafted 349th overall by the United States Hockey League Fargo Force in Round 22 of the 2016 USHL Draft.

The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the acquisition of  19 year old forward Finn Evans from the St Michaels Buzzers of the OJHL in exchange for future considerations. Last season Evans recorded 22 goals and 54 points in 46 games as well as 9 points in 7 playoff games.  The product of Toronto has already secured a scholarship to Princeton University for next season.

The 6’4 190 pound winger was also a member of  Team Canada East during the World Jr A Challenge last season. Evans is expected to arrive in Vernon later this week or early next week.
