Nashville, Tenn. (June 21, 2017) - Many of the Nashville Predators top prospects - including 2016 first-round pick Dante Fabbro, second-rounders Sam Girard, Yakov Trenin and Jack Dougherty, and many of the prospects to be selected by the club at this weekend's 2017 Draft in Chicago - will be on hand when the team's 2017 Development Camp officially opens on Monday, June 26 with team presentations, off-ice testing and on-ice skating work. Prospects will hold their first practice on Tuesday morning, with an on-ice session also scheduled for Thursday, June 29 at Centennial Sportsplex. The week will culminate with a Future Stars Game to be held Friday, June 30 at 7 p.m. at Bridgestone Arena. General admission tickets to the game are available for a $10 donation ($5 for Season-Ticket Citizens) to the Ford Ice Center Scholarship Fund.

The purpose of the camp is to educate and direct players in their pro development and conditioning programs, and the week's events will be presided over by Predators Director of Player Development Scott Nichol and Strength and Conditioning Coach David Good, with assistance from the rest of the Nashville Predators and Milwaukee Admirals (AHL Affiliate) coaching and hockey operations staffs. The scheduled training regimen includes a variety of on- and off-ice testing, dry-land activities and workouts, on-ice fundamentals work, video sessions, media and nutrition education, and team-building activities. The players will also receive instruction on training principles such as sport-specific power and strength enhancement, flexibility and off-ice conditioning.

Players will also participate in community relations activities on Thursday afternoon; a full release with times and locations will be available in the coming days.
