Anthony Yamnitsky Steals The Show – The Wenatchee Wild sit on top of the BCHL standings and one of the main reasons is the play of netminder Anthony Yamnitsky who made several big saves Friday against the Vernon Vipers. The 19 year old tender from North Royalton Ohio, not only made four or five highlight reel saves but also stopped 31 out of 32 shots to earn first star honours and give his team a 3-1 win over the snakes.

Yamnitsky bounced around the NAHL and USHL before joining Wenatchee this season and in his first year he has put up an impressive record of 26 wins and 7 losses with a 2.33 goals against average and 5 shut-outs this year. He’s easily one of the top tenders in the BCHL this season.
