Jackson is clutch for Clips in earning first POW of the playoffs

Nanaimo Clippers forward Jake Jackson has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending March 8, the league announced Monday.
Jackson exploded out of the gate in the playoffs with a four-goal, one assist game where also notched the game-winner and was named 1st Star. The San Jose Sharks draft pick followed up with the game-winning tallies in both Game 2 and Game 3 as the Clippers got out to a 3-0 series edge on Alberni Valley. The Maplewood, Minn. product had an assist in a Game 4 overtime loss but concluded the first week of the postseason with six goals and two assists.
