The defending Interior Division Conference Champion Vernon Vipers are coming off a 7-4 win in West Kelowna Saturday. Vernon has won four of their last five games. The Vipers will have four players out of the lineup as well as Mark Ferner tonight due to the suspensions from Saturday's game. Danny Todosychuk, Riley Brandt, Ryley Booth and Brandon Egli are all suspended after a line brawl broke out at the end of the Vipers-Warriors game. The Vipers sit in 3rd place one point back of Trail/Merritt who are both tied for 2nd in the Interior. Vernon is one point up on Salmon Arm and two points up on West Kelowna. The Vipers have lost two straight games to Merritt going back to last season fell 4-0 in Merritt three weeks ago. These same two teams will meet again November 1st in Vernon.

The Merritt Centennials are coming off a 4-3 overtime victory over the visiting Victoria Grizzlies Sunday. The Centennials make their first of four visits to Kal Tire Place this season. The Centennials are tied for 2nd place with Trail are eight points back of Division leading Penticton and are a single point up on 3rd place Vernon. Tonight is the Cents first of two games played in Vernon within a week as Merritt plays in Vernon next weekend. Merritt has won back to back games, both in overtime have won just twice in their last five games. The Centennials have lost two straight on the road are unbeaten in their last four games vs Vernon.
