For a fifth time this season former Vernon Vipers forward Mike Collins is one of eleven players that have been named this week's Hockey East weekly top performer on Monday.Mike Collins is in his fourth and final season at Merrimack College led Merrimack College with a three-goal weekend against the University of Vermont. At one point, Collins had scored four consecutive goals for Merrimack before sophomore Justin Hussar scored the last goal on Saturday night. In 26 games this year Collins collected (12-goals-11-assists-23-points). Collins played two season's in Vernon (2008-2010) In 119 regular season games with the Vipers Collins recorded (55-71-126)
