Udy moves on
Wednesday, August 1, 2012
Chilliwack Chiefs goaltender is giving up hockey to concentrate on his music career.
Udy is a singer-songwriter who describes his music as a mixture of country and pop "with a hint of soulful flare."
In July, Udy won the Don Weldon Most Promising Performer Award at the 2012 Calgary Stampede Talent Search.
Udy played 23 games for the Chiefs last year.
Udy will be missed both on and off the ice. Not only did he share the team's Most Improved Player award with Mathieu Tibbet, but his frequent volunteerism also won him the team's Most Community Minded Award.
