Vernon Vipers forward, Rob Short & the Vernon Tigers defeated the Armstrong Shamrocks 12-6 Wednesday night at the Wesbild Centre. It was a season-high goal total for the Tigers, who snapped a three-game losing skid and improved to 5-3-2 in the Thompson-Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League. Second star Robbie Short (2+4) helped out in the Tigers win. Vernon hosts the Rutland Raiders Saturday night (7:30) at the Wesbild Centre. Rutland sits in second-to-last place at 3-7.
