Big win for the Vipers to open the new season! After back to back losses to finish the pre-season, its nice to see the boys re-group and come back with a pretty good effort and performance in a big 7-3win over the Eagles today. Liam Coughlin and Dexter Dancs with a big game (two goals each) while former Viper Braeden Russell with a big game (two goals) vs his former team.
I really like the looks of this years team so far, Im really looking at the first ten games to see how well they do and if any changes need to be made.
I have noticed so far that the Vipers play a pretty good 1st period but have had there troubles with second periods so far this season. I really like how the team responds in the 3rd coming back with a solid final period.
Lets hope the boys can build off this win, get some confidence going and get ready for tomorrow night's game vs Chilliwack.
