Edwards was removed from the Vernon Vipers roster towards the end of November and is currently listed on the roster of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League Grand Forks Border Bruins roster.
Edwards attended the Vernon Vipers training camp, made the teams opening night roster before being place on the 30-day injured reserve October 3rd 2025. Edwards hasn't played a game with the Vernon Vipers since.
