Former Vipers Goaltender Nixon Purchases The Kal Eatery:

Former Vernon Vipers goaltender Kyle Nixon and his wife Carolyn recently purchased the Kal Eatery in Vernon in July 2025 and opened a BNA Brewing in Penticton in September 2025.

Kyle and his wife Carolyn own BNA Brewing Co. & Eatery in Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton.

Nixon last played professional hockey in the Netherlands in 2006 with the Nijmegen Emperors. Nixon played one season with the 2005-06 Emperors before retiring from professional hockey.

Nixon played three seasons at Minnesota State University from 2002-2005 before going to the Netherlands in 2005. 

Nixon played one season in Vernon with the 1999-00 Vernon Vipers. In 16 games with the Vipers, Nixon posted a 3.27 GAA
