Bandits Tie Centennial Cup/Vernon Lakers Record:

The Alberta Junior Hockey League Brooks Bandits

tied a Centennial Cup/Vernon Lakers record for most goals in one game. The Bandits beat the Superior International Junior Hockey League Red Lake Minors 11-4 on Saturday to improve to 2-0 at the Centennial Cup (formerly known as the Royal Bank Cup).

The Bandits become the seventh team in Centennial Cup/Royal Bank Cup history to score 11 goals in a single game. The Vernon Lakers defeated the Nipawin Hawks 11-5 in the Semi-finals at the 1990 Centennial Cup in Vernon.
