Powell River Kings goaltender Matteo Paler-Chow has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending March 18, the league announced Monday.

Paler-Chow was named first star in both of Powell River’s wins in Victoria this weekend, stopping 30 of the 31 shots he faced in a 5-1 game-one victory on Friday and making 39 more saves the next night in a 3-2 win to give his team a 2-0 series lead.
