Vienna Capitals take ex-lion Ken Magowan under the magnifying glass

After the departure of the former Straubingers Nicolas Deschamps the Vienna Capitals from the Austrian EBEL with an other obligation want to bring additional depth in the cadre. The Viennese invited forward Ken Magowan to a 3-day Tryout - with it itself the Canadian with the eyes of the Capitals-Coaches Tom Pokel and Phil Horsky could recommend.

On Saturday and on Sunday liked the 33-year-old offensive player, on an obligation it is decided in the course of Monday and after the final training, informed the club. If the choice falls on Magowan, he would be already operational on Tuesday with the play in Villach: ' In the most intensive phase of the season we also need an internal fight for a place in the Lineup', according to Tom Pokel to the possible strengthening for the Caps. Magowan played in this season already in the DEL2 for the lions Frankfurt and, besides, came on 17 Scorer points (nine gates, eight presentations) in 17 plays. The former top forward of the DEL could not be convincing with Hessen still completely, which is why his contract was dissolved again.
